The Physio-logical team are raising funds for the amazing Rowans Hospice taking part in a charity abseil.
The team will be braving a 100 metre descent abseiling down the side of Portsmouth’s iconic landmark, Spinnaker Tower on 16th September 2023.
So, why are we doing a charity?
As you may be aware Physio-logical have been supporting the Rowans Hospice for a number of years now, a charity very close to our hearts.
Natalie’s story…
My mother in law Lesley March sadly lost her fight to Cancer, 5 years ago, in April 2018, she was only 60 years old. Everyone at the Rowans Hospice cared for Lesley and the whole family so well. She was admitted for symptom control in July 2017 which was a great help too. Then when she deteriorated she was admitted for end of life care and sadly passed away in April.
Lesley was the most kind and caring person and she was so comfortable in The Rowans. She loved to watch her Dad come to visit her (the Robins) as well as the other wildlife too. She would be proud that myself, Kate and Kallum are continuing to raise money for Rowans Hospice.
The support given to our whole family has been brilliant so we wanted to give something back and will continue to do so.
Over the years the March family and Physio-logical Team Members have raised over £7000 for Rowans Hospice.
I know so many peoples’ lives have been touched by the amazing care that everyone at Rowans Hospice provides and will continue to be.
Please help us in raising money for the Rowans so they can invest in the building and continue to provide the exceptional care in a more up to date facility and environment.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and donations for the Rowans Hospice.
If you would like to support Natalie, Kate & Kallum on their abseil adventure please feel free to donate to our Just Giving page.
