A huge thank you for your custom and support over this last year, 2023 has been another busy year at Physio-logical! I always like to look back and reflect on the year and how we have improved, adapted and can continue to support our community.
The Physio-logical Team
We have celebrated Kate L – 9 year work anniversary and Kate W – 5 year work anniversary this year. We have also welcomed two new team members to our team.
‘We’ve got a brilliant team of people in our Stansted Park Clinic, Rowlands Castle and it has been such a great year both for the business and for our patients. We have now been in our new premises for two half years. Since moving into the new clinic things have gone from strength to strength and we’re looking forward to being able to support local schools and businesses look after the health and wellbeing of their employees in 2024. This year was our 15th Business year;
At Physio-logical, we take time to listen, we use hands on treatments and rehabilitation exercises within our two physiotherapy clinics at Stansted Park and Rowlands Castle Doctors surgery.
New Services and Systems
Our Shockwave therapy service continues to be really popular this year helping people with their tendon aches and pains including; Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff tendinopathy (shoulder pain), patellar tendinopathy (knee pain) and glutes tendinopathy (hip/buttock pain). Kallum, our golf Physiotherapist has launched his golf screening service too this year. Now is the perfect time to get any golfing niggles checked out or work to improve your golf performance for next season. We have supported golfers from Rowlands Castle Golf Club, Hayling Island Golf Club, Waterlooville Golf Club and Portsmouth Golf Club.
I came to Physio-logical as I was having pain to my shoulder and neck which was affecting my golf swing and was losing distance off the tee which was affecting my game quite badly. Kallum identified the problem quickly and gave me a set of exercises as well as treatment on the area where I saw improvement at each subsequent session. I would definitely recommend as I am now enjoying playing again. Martin B
We are always striving for excellence in all we do and that includes how and when we communicate with our valued patients. We have also recently re-invested in a new objective measuring tool – Activforce. It is a portable, data-driven solution that enables us to efficiently measure muscle strength, force and perform range of movement tests. Keep an eye on our socials and website where we will be sharing more information about this in the New Year. Our investment in our Home Exercise Programme, named Physitrack, has been invaluable to improve our service to our patients when building with you a bespoke rehabilitation and treatment plan.
Charity and Environment
We have continued to support the Rowans Hospice with our Spinnaker Tower Team Abseil to celebrate 15 years in business in September 2023;
In September 2023 – we also got together with a group of lovely patients, colleagues and friends to do our annual beach clean on Hayling Island, this will be an annual event, so feel free to join us next year!
Also, in September, we held our second Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Stansted Park Clinic for our coffee morning, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Well done to Hannah, Kate and all of the Physio-logical Team for organising a great event for a brilliant charity, total amount raised was £210.

We have helped lots of people throughout 2023:
- We have provided 3370 Physiotherapy, Shockwave, Sports Therapy, Acupuncture and Sports Massage appointments
- And welcomed 401 new patients to our clinics
We are very excited for 2024, lots of positive changes and additions coming to the clinic.
Our Stansted Park clinic will be closing at 5.00pm on Friday 22nd December until 8.00am Tuesday 2nd January 2024, so the whole Team can enjoy a well deserved rest!
