Why should I have a sports massage before and/or after my sporting event?
If you take part in sporting events then having a sports massage prior to your sporting event can help to prepare your muscles for the event and improve performance. After events sports massage is great to help release the muscles to aid quick recovery too.
Pre event massage can be carried out anytime from two days to immediately before an event.
Post event massage should be done as soon as possible after the event.

What is Sports Massage?
Sports massage, also known as deep soft tissue massage or remedial massage is a deep and firm massage. However the techniques used by our highly qualified and experienced massage therapists will be tailored to suit your needs and ensure effective results are gained from each treatment given.
Who provides sports massage at Physio-logical?
We have two soft tissue therapists Kate and Aniko who have both achieved BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in soft tissue therapy and are regulated by the ISRM (The Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists)
So, all of our therapists are highly skilled, knowledgeable and trained to a degree or diploma standard.
